Ingredients:
For the koftas:
- 500g ground lamb
- 1 small onion (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Salt & pepper
- Fresh parsley (chopped)
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
For the yogurt sauce:
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- 1 garlic clove (grated)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Chopped mint or dill (optional)
Instructions:
- Combine lamb, onion, garlic, spices, salt, and parsley.
- Shape into long oval shapes and thread onto skewers.
- Chill for 20–30 min to firm up.
- Grill over medium-high heat, turning until browned and cooked (10–12 min).
- Mix sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Serve koftas with yogurt sauce and flatbreads.
