They’re naturally sweet, gluten-free, and perfect as a quick dessert, snack, or even a breakfast topper. Serve them warm with a drizzle of nut butter or a spoon of coconut yogurt for an extra treat.
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced into 2 cm pieces
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or agave
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon crushed oats or almond flour (optional, for crunch)
- Olive oil spray or brush (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, gently toss banana slices with maple syrup and cinnamon.
- Lightly coat air fryer basket with oil spray.
- Arrange banana slices in a single layer and sprinkle lightly with oats or almond flour.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and caramelised.
- Serve warm as is, or top with yogurt, granola, or chopped nuts.
