This Air Fryer Miso Glazed Salmon is tender, flaky, and full of umami flavor. The miso marinade gives it a sweet-savory glaze that caramelizes beautifully in the air fryer. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or light lunch.
Ingredients:
- 2 salmon fillets (skin on)
- 2 tbsp white miso paste
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin (or rice vinegar)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp grated ginger
- Cooking spray
- Optional: sesame seeds & chopped scallions for garnish
Instructions:
- In a bowl, whisk together miso, soy sauce, mirin, honey, sesame oil, and ginger.
- Brush the marinade over the salmon and let it sit for 15–30 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
- Spray basket lightly with oil. Place salmon skin-side down.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes until the top is caramelized and the salmon is cooked through.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve with rice or steamed veggies.
