These Air Fryer Apple Chips are the perfect healthy snack—crispy, slightly sweet, and incredibly easy to make. No added sugar, no deep frying—just apples, spice, and hot air. They’re a great option for kids, meal prep, or a light afternoon bite.
Ingredients:
- 2 apples (any firm variety like Fuji or Honeycrisp)
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- Optional: a pinch of sea salt or a drop of lemon juice
Instructions:
- Thinly slice apples using a mandoline or sharp knife (about 2–3 mm thick). Remove seeds.
- Toss slices in cinnamon and lemon juice (if using).
- Preheat air fryer to 160°C (320°F).
- Place slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches.
- Air fry for 12–16 minutes, flipping halfway. Keep an eye near the end—they can brown quickly!
- Let them cool completely. They’ll crisp up more as they cool.
Tips:
- Store in an airtight container to keep them crisp.
- Try mixing in nutmeg or cardamom for variety.
