Cheesy Baked Gnocchi with Spinach & Tomato Sauce

Soft, pillowy gnocchi baked in a rich tomato sauce with spinach and melted cheese — this Cheesy Baked Gnocchi is comfort food at its finest. It’s a one-dish wonder that’s easy to prepare, crowd-pleasing, and perfect for weeknights.

Minimal prep, maximum flavour — just layer and bake!

Ingredients:

  • 500g store-bought potato gnocchi
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 1 jar (500g) tomato pasta sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan
  • Salt, pepper, and chili flakes to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. In a pan, heat oil and sauté garlic. Add spinach until wilted.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce and season to taste.
  4. Add uncooked gnocchi to the sauce and toss to coat.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish. Top with mozzarella and parmesan.
  6. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbling.
