Rich, fudgy, and deeply chocolatey — these Café-Style Chocolate Brownies are everything a brownie should be. With a crackly top and gooey centre, they’re perfect for dessert, afternoon tea, or serving warm with ice cream.
Ingredients:
- 200g dark chocolate, chopped
- 150g butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup plain flour
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a square baking tin with paper.
- Melt butter and chocolate together, stir until smooth.
- Whisk in sugar, then eggs one at a time.
- Fold in flour, cocoa, vanilla, and salt.
- Pour into tin, smooth top.
- Bake 25–30 min until just set. Cool completely before slicing.
